Monitor Audio Radius 390 Subwoofer, combining the colour coded 10 inch C-CAM active/ABR drivers, powered by 200 W Class D amplifier. With rapid EQ optimisation from Impact, Music and Movie settings, and system automation via the 12 V trigger.

Technology:

C-CAM bass driver – radius features bass drivers introduced by top of the range platinum speakers and applied subsequently to Gold GX. The radiating diaphragm and its motor design, introduce larger motor sizes and voice coils for increased excursion. With higher power capability and reduced distortion.

The compact Radius cabinets, benefit from efficient rear-venting design. Releasing air trapped and compressed air at the back of the tweeter dome. With guiding around the drive assembly to a rear loading chamber.

With HiVe’s reflex port making Radius debut, it’s shaped to have the same effect on airflow as a gun-barrel on a bullet.

With HiVe II port design, rifled grooves inside the port help to accelerate the flow and reduce turbulence, so air moves in and out of the port more efficiently for faster dynamic bass response.

With a Single through Bolt Driver, it provides mechanical de coupling and enhanced mid band clarity with resolution.
