Introducing the Four Ranges within Europe
Following the previous announcement of 8K QLED TVs announced at CES 2020. Samsung has confirmed the 4K QLED TV Line-up for 2020.
Officially, Samsung’s 4K QLED TV Range introduces the series known as Q60T, Q70T, Q80T & Q90T/Q95T (One of them has a OneConnect Box) ranges. These will replace previous versions of 2019’s Range of the Q60R, Q70R, Q80R, Q90R QLED TVs and the top tier RU8000 LCD Series. These new TVs will be available in sizes between 43 Inches and 85 Inches.
With Q60T and Q70T Models introducing what Samsung is calling the ‘Dual LED’ system. It combines both warm and cool LED backlights to enhance contrast and colour reproduction.
More Advanced AL Upscaling
The 4K QLEDs are powered by a new 4K processor to give it more power. With the Quantum Processor, 2.0 4K harnesses the next generation of AI upscaling wizardry that utilizes deeper, more nuanced machine learning processing. With Machine-learning in work to build algorithms in order to improve picture quality for lower than 4K content, the New process uses numerous algorithmic layers to advance the effect.
With the Adaptive Picture+ Mode it can optimize the brightness of the TV based on room conditions. And with the Active Voice Amplifier, it automatically bolsters voice clarity when an increase in surrounding noise is detected.
Every 2020 QLED TV is compatible with Samsung’s New Symphony concept, which sees the TV’s top and side drivers working in conjunction with the speakers within a connected Samsung 2020 Q-Series Soundbar. As opposed to TV speakers being muted when a soundbar is connected, here they all work together in perfect symphony.
Smarter OS
With Samsung’s User Interface that is already most intuitive around, with new tweaks that aim to make it even more in 2020.
With a universal guide that will combine OTT services to display a one-stop-shop of content, organised into sections labeled ‘On Now’ and ‘Continue Watching’. Which services’ content will be included depends on what service metadata Samsung can pull, but we’re told by a Samsung representative that the bigger services such as Netflix and Amazon will be on board at launch.
Owners of the New Television will see more services at once with the OS System, On the Home Page there will be a change of icons from rectangular to square and in addition have the built-in Bixby Voice Control. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant Fans can rejoice as it will have compatibility and Support for that as well.
Tap View Allows compatible phones to mirror their screen to a 2020 Samsung TV simply by touching the two devices together.
Samsung used the European 2020 QLED TV launch to clarify the 8K TV offer for this year. In Addition to the flagship Q950TS (65 Inches, 75 Inches, and 85 Inches) there will also be Q900TS and Q800T Ranges that offer sizes between 55 Inches and 98 Inches.
